Donations and Sponsorship - 2011 Tournament of Roses Parade
With this exciting opportunity to be in the 2011 Tournament of Roses Parade comes the need for additional funds. Our expenses include ground transportation, air travel, and lodging for the students, as well as ground transportation for their instruments. Make your tax-deductable donation to support the Downingtown High School Marching Band's trip to the 2011 Tournament of Roses parade.
We have created a letter to help our fund raising efforts. This letter tells businesses in our community and beyond about what we are trying to accomplish. Students and parents, please print the letter and hand deliver it to your favoriate small businesses: your dentist, mechanic, doctor, etc. For larger businesses, please contact Sharon O'Shaughnessy to see if that company has already been contacted or should be put on the list of businesses to be contacted personally by the Tournament of Roses Parade Committee.
Many companies provide corporate matching funds to non-profits such as DHS-MPA. This is an easy way for you to double (or even triple!) your donation. Please contact your Human Resources department to find out if they offer a corporate matching program to double your tax-deductible donation to DHS-MPA. DHS-MPA is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, and meets federal eligibility for these programs.
